--- Quote from: Buriedcode on August 26, 2016, 06:05:33 pm ---just thought I'd google steorn (and ubeam) to be abreast of whether the penny has dropped for investors. Seems it did a while ago.. from the website itself: http://dispatchesfromthefuture.com/2016/07/steorn-prospects-dim-investors-told-to-chip-in-more-or-lose-it-all/ --- End quote --- Ah, the old "you'll lose it all" confidence trick :palm: You've gotta wonder how much money this guy has siphoned off over the last 16 years? I'd be stunned if he's putting every cent invested back into genuine expenses. |

Actually with the size of his device, it is possible to build a strong enough energy harvesting device that able to actually power the phone. I don't think harvesting RF signal can give you enough energy, but with a phone you need to always carry with you, I think a mechanical device built inside (like a rotor in the mechanical watch) may give you enough energy for continuous operation. |

But this one is potted (possibly also full of pot), so totally fake. |

They didn't even get moved in the post so far either. McBryce. |
