Switch terminology and the eBay wasteland
« on: May 09, 2020, 02:56:58 pm »
Needed some mini DPST toggle switches, so looked on eBay (U.S. version).  Astounded to learn how many sellers don't know a pole from a throw ... never mind exotic terms like center-off and momentary.  Actually saw some single throw switches advertised as center-off ... how does that work?   :-//  Never found the switches I need ... off to DigiKey.  Be careful out there!

Maybe the switch only moves to one side and stops in the middle? ::)

But seriously...this is like electricity 101 stuff... :palm:
