TA-427AR military field telephone
(1/1)

We come from here: https://www.eevblog.com/forum/chat/seeking-info-on-military-field-phone-ta-427ar/
I have a military field telephone model TA-427AR which I have had for some years and I would like to find a suitable destination for it. The AR might stand for "automatic ringer" as there were other 427 with different suffixes.

I would be willing to sell it except that I am not willing to set up an eBay account just for this. Too much trouble.
I would even be willing to give it away to a worthy cause and I did email warmuseum.ca but they replied they already had one and had no need for another. (I felt like asking if they would join me in the search for the Holy Grail just to see if they would reply they already had one too. Maybe someone will get the reference.)
At any rate, I found this video of a Canadian guy demonstrating some self-soldering splices. I guess crimping had not been invented yet.
His channel looks at all sorts of old-time equipment (quite interesting) and I thought this field phone might interest him. I do not have a Google account so I cannot contact him on YouTube but if someone wants to alert him to this thread and/or ask him if he might be interested I would be grateful. I do recommend his channel.
Or any other ideas of what to do with the phone.
