What chips would be missing if it came to war. Would the global economy collapse because that's where the most important chips come from? Should companies like TI, Analog, Intel move their production facilities back to the USA or the EU?

I don't see this thread lasting long because the Mods will probably deem it political (or it will go that way by itself).
I don't believe any of the large semiconductor manufacturers that you mentioned have any fabs in Taiwan. The problem would be the large number of fabless semiconductor companies who use TSMC.

TSMC is headquartered in Taiwan. Shutting their fabs down would be a major impact to worldwide chip production.

Note: I edited this post after tautech (thanks) brought to my attention that I was a little too quick to lock this thread down.
