Tequipment.net "In Stock" not really in stock

Wonderful, Evan.  Thanks for the prompt response.   :-+

Just ran into the same issue. Placed and order and there was no indication during the whole process that they don't actually have the items. Got the email the next day that stuff will be shipped in a month. I placed an order elsewhere, but it is a huge waste of time.

Why not do as any sane supplier does and indicate what is actually in stock and what you can may be order? This stunt made me create an account with another supplier, so now the barrier to ordering something from them is much lower.

I don't think I'll be ordering from Tequipment anymore unless I have no other options. Deceptive practices should not be tolerated.

Whats the item so the guy above can check?

Pace ADS200 tip 1130-0035-P1. But it does not matter, I cancelled the order and placed it with a supplier that actually has stock.

The point is that if the only way to find out the actual shipping date and availability is to place the order, then your system is either designed by idiots or intentionally malicious. I would have waited a week if I knew in advance, no problem. But I would not wait for 3.5 weeks, especially that I have no trust that this period would not be extended. I assume they turn around and order stuff from Pace. But if they don't want to hold stock, then what is the point of them even being there?

They do hold a lot of stock, just not what you wanted.  This has been discussed before--they show the number in stock unless they don't have it, in which case they don't mention it--even when you order.  They do answer the phone, so you have to call or message them to check on anything that doesn't explicitly tell you that it is in stock.  It's all workable I suppose, but there's definitely room for improvement.
