If their nesting material touches the earth connector/wire as well why wouldn't some earth current start to flow? It's pretty much the same potential as neutral, so all else being equal would attract the same current. --- End quote --- ... what earth? |

this can be solved by using cable glands and junction boxes, but it will cost about 50% more per install (but of course, this is about 0.0000001% of what the house is worth, but people will absolutely flip the FUCK out if you suggest it). people like to put garbage into their houses for some reason (shredded news paper insulation) rather then proper materials (rockwool) and use ridiclous things like aluminum wiring. |
