  • I like to measure things.
I was really hoping that some dudes in a control room on Earth would cut in to sing "This is ground control to Major Tom". Nevertheless, I really enjoyed this video, it was nothing short of amazing. :D
<fellbuendel> it's arduino, you're not supposed to know anything about what you're doing
<fellbuendel> if you knew, you wouldn't be using it

He has an excellent voice and he is an awesome person to have on board the ISS. Has really brought space to the front of some children's minds.
BTW he is part of CSA, not NASA ;).

This dude should be an inspiration for future generations. He's made whole bunch of video's , done live videocasts for schoolchildren answering all kinds of science questions, he's commander of the ISS .

One ride on a soyouz 40million $
One spacestation 150 billion $
Mayor Tom sung by the commander of the ISS while in orbit , underlined with video footage .. Priceless.

Ya gotta love Chris, makes ya proud to be a Canadian. I remember watching the space competition on the CBC (I forget what it was really called) he was on and basically blew everyone else out of the water. Not only with his qualifications but his personality was fantastic. Not sure how famous and well liked he is everywhere else but in Canada he is both.
