OK, thanks, I've fixed it.  We still have another month to find and fix typos like that before the book goes to print, so any errors found or suggestions made are welcomed!

I expect there will be interesting comments on usenet group sci.electronics.design

The last 11 pages of this 18-page section were just finished, and have not been reviewed by our copy editor (and may not be, as the book is going into page layout shortly), so we'd appreciate any comments, especially from sharp-eyed readers.

Haasje93:
Hello Mr Hill,

I just started reading the pages and i found something.
In footnote 69, there is stated, that in the table stands die size 8mm2. That you can read it as 8mm by 8mm. But if my basics are quite right, it is wrong. Because 8mm by 8mm is 64mm2. Hope to hear from you.

Best regards,
Christiaan

winfieldhill:
Thanks for your comment and question.  Well, I see we were quoting IR's HEXFET Databook, HDB-1, 1981, page 96, as to their particular notation method.  Now I'd better go back to that 1981 source material and go through it again.  And of course, 8^2 and 8x8 are the same thing, 64 squares, 64 square mm, etc.
