The Avengers Multimeter

(1/7) > >>

EEVblog:
I just saw The Avengers (yes, it's freak'n awesome BTW).
I noticed a scene that had what seemed like a long lingering shot with a multimeter in it which then drifted off camera.
Seemed to be some cheapie OneHungLow manual range job, and I thought it seemed rather misplaced among all the other high tech gadgetry.
Almost certainly the one in the cinema that was wondering what brand and model it was  ;D
Any else spot it?

Dave.

Dave, when you said "Avengers Multimeter" I imagined John Steed using an AVO model 8. ;D
But you don't mean the silly Pommy TV series ,do you?
You mean the silly Marvel comic movie! ;D

IanB:
Maybe the producers went round all the big names like Fluke and Agilent and asked how much they were willing to pay for a product placement opportunity? And perhaps when they got no bites from the big names they went with a cheap anonymous brand to avoid giving anyone free publicity.
