The Avengers Multimeter

I just saw The Avengers (yes, it's freak'n awesome BTW).
I noticed a scene that had what seemed like a long lingering shot with a multimeter in it which then drifted off camera.
Seemed to be some cheapie OneHungLow manual range job, and I thought it seemed rather misplaced among all the other high tech gadgetry.
Almost certainly the one in the cinema that was wondering what brand and model it was 
Any else spot it?

Maybe the producers went round all the big names like Fluke and Agilent and asked how much they were willing to pay for a product placement opportunity? And perhaps when they got no bites from the big names they went with a cheap anonymous brand to avoid giving anyone free publicity.

I've seen the movie twice and now I have to watch it again to see this elusive meter, lol (good excuse).

I also noticed an old 70s era analog oscilloscope in one scene. It may have been a Tektronix 485, but I'm not sure. The 70's blue plastic also seemed out of place among the transparent oled screens and such.

I watched it twice in digital 3D and regular, IMO the 3D isn't that emphasized and you wouldn't really miss out.

Even the "good" 3D movies to me just look fairly gimmicky. My brain isn't tricked. And it can be quite tiring to watch compared to a 2D movie.
I just don't see the attraction at all.

I completely agree. Besides, its not really three dimensional anyway; if it was, you'd be able to 'peer' right and left to see completely different facets of persons and objects - for instance, those sitting on the right side of the theater would see different things/perceptions than those sitting on the left.

If I recall correctly, in Iron Man, in Tony Stark's lab there was an instrument that looked like a Tektronix 2225 or the similar. The things I pick up on nowadays. Anyone see that?

I remember a very touching moment in "Days of our Lives",where a major character was in the ICU ,supposedly hooked up to a heart monitor.
The Heart monitor was a Tektronix 545B!

Actually,a lot of the props in older episodes of that show were a trifle "rough around the edges".
