Calling environmentalists "narrow, unenlightened and self-interested" is an odd take, for sure. But I should get out of here before this thread goes off on one of those political tailspins that so many of them seem to achieve.

I found it amusing, but he does have a valid point that the planet will survive long after we are gone, unless we blow it to bits and pieces with some big nuclear bomb or a massive meteorite comes along and does it of course.
