Thanks for the link. Today these SOTA systems are producing 5nm chip features on 12 inch wafers, and cost ~$300M!! Remember ~15 years ago when we had a 40nm CMOS that cost ~$4M just for the masks alone!! Have no idea what a 5nm mast set cost today! Best, |
