About the only thing on them that is somewhere near correct is probably the polarisation stripe, though it ciuld be to mark negative or positive lead..........

The polarity strip is the same printing, so it rubs off too :P

The product is a RC speed controller which comes encased in clear heat-shrink, so normally you wouldn't be able to touch the caps.

I'm not sure if they never got a the final manufacturing step (baked on / clear coated) or if the factory worker loaded the printing machine with something other than ink.

Pobably used a bottle of off brand cheap ink. Why waste good money on marking the fakes with permanent ink if they are going after the maximum profit per device.

Plus if they need another value or brand and have some left over just wipe clean and run through the marker again.

Could it be some solvent from the heat-shrink (evaporating during heating) that degraded the ink?
