Yes I understand, that is frustrating, happened to me too. What I mean by why bother is that it could have been anything between your pc and the eevblog server, it is solved already and you are not going to get your reply back. So there is little gain in knowing where the fault was.

If I am writing a lengthy reply, I write it down into leafpad/notepad, then I cut & paste the text.
