TI $25 Credit For Account Migration From NatSemi
« on: August 22, 2013, 01:57:49 am »
I was plesantly surprised to open my email this morning and have an email from TI with a $25 store credit because my National Semiconductors account got automatically migrated to a TI account a year ago. I was initially a bit skeptical but the email headers seemed to check out okay.

I went to the store via TI's main website (who trusts email!) and placed an order for a dev board. Everything seems like it has gone through just fine, order came up as paid as soon as I punched the code in. Will update this thread if/when it arrives.

Just a heads up that it might be worth looking out for the email if you also had a Nat Semi account that got migrated. Seems like the sort of thing that'd end up in a spam folder.

If it is legit, kudos to TI for doing something completely unexpected but quite awesome after a takeover.

The code was legit however it was abused. The original promo code is now cancelled.
