Title: To VideoBloggers [Files Backup]
Post by: ElectricGuy on December 28, 2015, 05:02:40 am
Hi;

How do you videoBloggers handle your video files.

I mean, do you record a video, edit, upload and then what do you do with the files? Do you delete them? Do you only backup the raw file and the project file? Do you backup the raw file, and also the file exported after editing? What do you do?

Thanks!

I keep all the raw video files (entire editing directory inc images etc + project file) from every video I've ever done on multiple sets of two hard drives (different brands, different locations)
Current full archived hard drive has episodes 500-715
I also keep copies of the final rendered version I upload to youtube.
Nothing automated or fancy, all pretty much manual.
