FWIW, I've been trying this, and have been unable to get a piece of balsa to bleach using the peroxide and sun I have available :-( Maybe I need to wait till summer! |

I didn't see the NaOH the first time. Also, I want to try a range of "consumer" peroxides:3% "medicinal."6-10% "hair bleach."~27% "pool sanitizer" |
