What is your body voltage?
« on: September 02, 2015, 01:39:26 am »
:-DMM What voltage do you get when you hold one multimeter lead in each hand with it set to the lowest DC voltage setting? My high score is about 100 mv on my cheap cen-tech multimeter (with homemade leads).

this depends on your proximity to transmitters, power of said transmitters, your body composition, your body conductivity, the input impedance of your multimeter, how you are grounded, etc

Are you using two dissimilar metals on your probes, and a conductive gel?

about 500V with sight of a pretty woman |O

500 Volts!? Wow, that is quite high and dangerous! Beware not to touch the pretty woman though or else you will end in jail because of physical injury resulting from negligence!

I actually measured it, with dry handy, no lubrication gel, using my all day multimeter: 174mV while standing on a carpet, measured it from thumb to thumb.
However, probing from my bellybutton to the nose I got 193mV!

Maybe I should repeat that on a daily base... hmm... quite interesting :P

Depends where I stick the probes.  :P I seem to get 100mv from index to thumb, hand to hand I only get 50.   Need a couple daisy chained batterisers so I can power a monkey with two fingers.  :-DD

Never occurred to me to experiment with this actually.  I touched the ground of my psu while touching the probe on the positive (to free my other hand), and with the other hand I was touching the probe by the tip.  I got 9 volts.

2.1mV AC between my tongue and left thumb plus 140mV DC. At 53uA AC buut cant measure the DC amps as its too low.

You don't need anythng else, you're doing a fine 'job' as it is.
Don't ask a question if you aren't willing to listen to the answer.
