You do know that those plastic sleeves are available for sale, to be shrunk over any 18650 cell, giving you a brand name cell and capacity, irrespective of the original cell type or capacity. Almost all of the cells are either recycled ones from old packs, rejects from a manufacturing plant or other unwanted cells with no real manufacturer support.
