| Trying to identify a source for a QFP 160 socket |

Hope this is the right area to post this, if not let me know. I need to get hold of a QFP 160 socket, all I have for reference is a board with one already fitted, see pic below: https://i.ibb.co/MhwcqZp/20181123-121751.jpg It's made by Amp but I have been looking at Amp's website and other places yet can't seem to find the right socket (it's probably no longer manufactured). I need this for testing some old 160 pin QFP chips. I've found assorted test sockets but they are usually through-hole mounting only I of course need to surface mount this. |

Yamaichi perhaps? |

Thanks, I was looking at their sockets but couldn't seem to find anything suitable. |

Are you sure it is QFP and not PLCC? |
| SolderSucker:
100% positive, it's to take a chip with this kind of leg arrangement: https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/IIUAAOSwdGFYqwSt/s-l1600.jpg (that's just a random image to show the type of legs the chip has). The sockets do exist, but seemingly they are hard to find these days. |
