TSMC to delay Arizona fab. [Duplicate Post, Locked]
« on: July 21, 2023, 04:12:45 pm »
Due to a shortage of skilled workers.

That is what happens when a country outsources wholesale an industry. The old skilled workers who had the knowledge retire, and there are no younger generations to be trained and to “carry the flag”.

Why another topic on the same subject?

When I was originally posting this thread, the website sent an error message. I exited and looked around to see whether it had actually posted. It had not. So I re-wrote and re-posted the other, now duplicate thread.
Is there a way to erase this one?

I reported this as a dup, mods will clean it up. There is no way to delete the topic yourself.

Any chance you can provide the error you received so I can investigate this?

Unfortunately, I didn’t do a printscreen. Sorry!

But it was something like “buffer full”, or words to the effect.

Generally this kind of error (buffer related) is the HTTP server itself (nginx) hitting a request content size limit. If it happens again please take a screenshot and private message me with it. I don't think the forum software (SMF) ever generates such an error directly.

Closing this thread to cleanup the forum.

Edit: Confirmed, SMF will never report any "buffer full" like errors directly, it either came from Nginx (logs indicate it didn't) or the client's browser itself had an internal issue. All traffic for the OP's IP shows only success responses, no errors, indicating (but not necessarily proving) it was a client side issue.
