U.S. considers blacklisting China’s largest chipmaker [Unconfirmed]
(1/1)

I'm sure nobody asked the EEngineering Force 1 and corporate about this not so brilliant idea before lashing out the ongoing blackmailing at China in the media. So I'll ask on their behalf. What does it all mean for the commercial and household products knowing most if not all have mixed foreign/imported technologies (regardless of their origin)? Or is this just part of the ongoing ill politically motivated anti-china propaganda out of fear of superpower overrides? Is this of any real and immediate concerns to you/your company?

Ed.Kloonk:
I don't see it causing too much ill-effect. Even if this happens, the policy will only be to appease a certain part of the community. A service in an intermediary country will just route the stuff where it needs to go.
It'll be a cat and mouse game. But we can be sure that the US will get tired of bothering to chase the mice long before the Chinese will get tired of running around.
ebclr:
This routing procedure, will do exactly the intent to increase price , and logistic complexity Who at the end will create a "artificial" more competitivity for production outside China, To cover the "artificial" tricks Chinas use to makes made in CHina competitive.
