uCurrent fabrication
« on: February 26, 2018, 04:48:37 am »
I want to pick up a uCurrent, and since they're out of stock I've just ordered the PCBs and parts to build one myself.
Since I ordered a set of prototype PCBs, I'll be getting more than one. I don't really need more than one, but if I have the PCBs I might as well populate them.
My question then comes to whether it's acceptable to sell those units.
The license listed on the page is CC BY SA; which I believe allows commercial reuse with attribution as long as it's not marked NC, but this isn't purely about the legal aspect.

Is there any problem with selling the remaining 9 units on tinide in the US? If there's demand, would there be a problem with selling additional?
I don't want to disrespect Dave's effort in design or affect his sales.

All I ask is that people selling uCurrent clones do not use my trademark uCurrent name, my name or likeness or website on the PCB or product.

How would you recommend providing proper attribution without directly referencing you?

A link on your product page would be fine, thanks.
