Unknown MAC on my network
perdrix:
Wifi router is reporting a client with a MAC address: AE:4D:D6:11:1B:4B
MAC lookup tools failed to identify - does anyone have a clue what this might be?

--- Quote ---The quick synopsis is look at the second character in a MAC address, if it is a 2, 6, A, or E it is a randomized address.

Or a VM, or a cheapo IoT device without a universal MAC addr. For sure, it's a locally-administered address.

I pick up all sorts of things on my network.
Next door neighbours PC wifi etc.
