Videos no longer 50 FPS?
« on: December 04, 2017, 02:13:02 am »
I've noticed the latest EEVBlog videos haven't been encoded as 50 FPS. This goes as far back as eevBLAB #40 which was uploaded 6 days ago, so I don't believe it's a matter of Youtube not being done encoding all versions of the video files. Is this an intentional or accidental change?
Whoa! How the hell did Dave know that Bob is my uncle? Amazing!

Seems to coincide with use of Vegas 15? Some videos of his trials of this new software on eevblog2.

I prefer the lower FPS.  It allows 2x speed playback without issue on my weaker tablet PCs.
50fps at 2x playback speed drops frames and sags at 1080p since my device cant render the 100fps.
