Wanna see some 1970s PCB CAD?
« on: February 19, 2022, 03:47:43 pm »

Hoarder of 8-bit Commodore relics and 1960s Tektronix 500-series stuff. Unconventional interior decorator.

Applicon Bravo. They used storage tubes
We also had CalMa cad systems for IC layout. driven by a Nova 2600 computer with a VAX77/90 as backbone to run spice. 1989...

Applicon mechanical cad lives on as Pro/engineer. ( PTC bought them . )

they did all of this with 64k of ram... we can't even make bootloaders that fit in that anymore.
