Promotional items actualy show up
« on: December 01, 2011, 01:10:33 pm »
When I bought my 8846A fluke was running a promotion giving away free products based on how much you spent. So I qualified for a Fluke 2AC voltalert, a Fluke C550 toolbag, and a Fluke 62 mini infrared thermometer (list price $206usd)  At 1282usd for the 8846A - 206usd = 1075usd for the 8846A (part of the reason I bought it)  So the stuff actually showed up yesterday.

Awesome, I wish my LPCxpresso would show up (about 12 months after NXP promised it to me) - sure I could buy one for $30 but i'd rather avoid their chips now.

You too, huh?  I got an e-mail off them in about February or thereabouts offering me one, so I filled in the form and got another e-mail a few days later saying it was on the way.  It never turned up, but I have had the odd bit of promo material and an interesting samples pack since.

Exactly the same - Even opened a ticket on their website which got ignored. I guess they did this to a lot of people!

If you failed receive a free LPCXpresso, send an email to Kimberly Khoury (kimberly.khoury at nxp.com), she'll take care of it. I believe they got a bit overwhelmed by all the responses.

No apology necessary, I really was glad, my original post does not have much value to anyone.

What happened was that I just got a phone call from reception to tell me there was a package from NXP waiting for me.  Splendid!
