Idly playing with my tube pin straightener, I was curious to see if I could use it on a 4-pin TO-3 package one pin at a time. Much to my surprise, it fit the 9-pin Noval socket on my pin straightener.

Weird. Ya think JEDEC still had some JETEC diagrams lying around and just reused them?
Hoarder of 8-bit Commodore relics and 1960s Tektronix 500-series stuff. Unconventional interior decorator.
