What are the odds?!

 |O :palm: *sigh!*

Perfectly identical markings. They all appear to have been sanded very slightly. I'm going to swab them with acetone. Not holding out much hope.

The second picture doesn't show it well. I'm guessing these were sanded, painted and then laser etched. The markings show on camera, but not in person. These are 100% fake. Can anyone delid these are take macro shots of the die? I'm curious what they really are.

I have a few Cypress CY7C68013A that are clearly sanded and re-labeled (full removal of the marking with IPA). The interesting part is that I can see the remains of the original Cypress logo and the parts look like original parts. They also work as original parts (in limited testing).

My only assumption is that they wanted them to all be from the same batch or something like that, otherwise I can't imagine why would you go into trouble of re-labeling the original parts.

I don't know either.
Maybe just because these were salvaged parts, and to make them look brand new and resell them as such.
