Apple G5 Temperature Sensor Identification

Hello All.

I am building an ATX PC with an old G5 case. Apon stripping the case of all the internal I came across a couple of Temperature Sensors.

I then had the idea to leave these in their orginal place and somehow implement them in the new build with an Arduino or something similar.

Here is the actual board.



The little IC is labled "7752" with a Capacitor and Resistor. This type of configuration looks similar to the 1 wire thermo sensor like a DS18B20.

I have searched the internet for the data sheet on this component but have found nothing. Could it be a inhouse chip from Apple ?

Google "7752" "sot23-5" and the very first result is the datasheet for the DS1775.

Thank you greatly ! I was just googling "7752" and trying different keywords like IC, Thermo, etc.

just to clarify "sot23-5" is the package number ?

did you have any luck reading the sensor please ?

No, I just replaced the boards with DS18B20 Breakout boards and used the included library to read the temps.
