ARGHH!!!
Today Tonight have a lot to answer for!
They got duped into doing a segment on John Christie's Lutec free energy machine and every man and his dog has been flogging that video as "proof" it works ever since!
http://www.lutec.com.au/

There are countless articles debunking the Lutec machine, so I won't bother. But Google threw up:
http://www.ratbags.com/rsoles/comment/lutec.htm
http://www.ratbags.com/rsoles/comment/lutec1.pdf
http://www.ratbags.com/rsoles/comment/lutec2.pdf

That website you posted is hilarious!
It is textbook Affiliate scam website 101!, the tell-tail signs are:
- The portrait photo to add credability, you can almost guarantee that's not the guy who runs the website, he's really a uni student from India:
http://www.cringely.com/2009/03/parrot-secrets/
- The fake certificate of guarantee
- The fake signature
- The fake testimonials
- "Proof" that it really works by posting a seemingly credible video of *someone else's* device
- The free lifetime membership
- List of outrageous claims with the big green ticks to make it seem like this device is better than all others
- Access to "secret" information
etc etc

And they are all in the exact order and formatting of all other scam-101 websites!

And that's not even getting into the technical details of why such things are a load of hot air designed by fools who don't know how to measure things properly.

Dave.

PM machines do exist, I have attached a plan for one ;)

Laws of physics used:

#1 Toast will always land butter down.
#2 Cat will always land on feet.

Therefore cat will hover and rotate, making free energy ;)

Only problem I have found so far is the cat objects to be skewered to provided the central pivot point and the power take off.

I do not see the cats problem, it is a service to humans.... ohhhhh that is right I am her slave (slaps head) silly me ;)

You'd probably just end up with one very annoying cat!
Either that or it will create a paradox that will destroy the entire space-time continuum!

My better half believes the LHC (Large Hadron Collider) is powered by a room of Cats, and is why when it is finally running the arth will go poof ;) (She writes sci-fi, so has some interesting ideas lol)

Then we have nothing to worry about-- it is natural impossibility to herd a cat, much less a room full of them! LHC doesn't end the world. I think the temporal anomaly you speak-of will instead come from Hollywood, because the TV shows SUCK so bad this year, the whole region will collapse into a singularity near the start of the fall TV season.

Now class as the long dead a long time ago phisicist may have said. There is one universal law: In nature nothing is destroyed and nothing is created, everything in transformed"

we do not "make" electricity from nothing, we transform another (usually thermal, or thermal created mechanical) type of energy into electricity, with i hasten to say LOSSES. This is a universal law, bear it in mind and you can't go wrong.

I too as a teenager came up with the brilliant idea of running a 60 A alternator off a 5 A motor and gaining a net of 55 A @ 12 volts, naturally it didn't take too much thought to remind me that to make 60 A I needed the mechanical power of a 75-80 amp motor (all being 12 volts), my exscuse is i was just 14 and i was not out to con the world and get rich (well getting rich was at the back of my mind but obviously if it was that great an idea it would have been done already).

Too late! If you have friends / spouses / co-workers that talk about *whatever country* Idol, Trueblood, or any other low-grade, low-brow entertainment.... You're already exposed! Quantum entanglement has occurred.

Lots has been written about energy.
Don Lancaster has written an excellent summary about it.

you can find it here:

http://www.tinaja.com/glib/energfun.pdf

These energy "sources" are usually based on a measurement error.
Usually meters are used that display average value of a sinus (cheap multimeters) and this value is interpreted by the user as an RMS value. Also when non sinuodial waves are used on these meters the error becomes easily 50 or 100%.
Measuring true rms is very difficult.
Why spend money I don't have on things I don't need to impress people I don't like?
