Is it possible to get more space for personal messages?

As the title says, is there a way to get more space for personal messages? I have two messages inbox and the forum software says the inbox is already 40 percent filled. Maybe a donation to the EEVblog or the forum?

I hope this is the right place to ask for this, I did not find another thread that had the same subject.

Where do you even see this percentage? I have a ton of messages and they all are there. I did not even know there was a limit like that. It may be indeed something for new members.

This to minimize those spammer who freshly joined just to spam the forum.
