What else to buy from digikey?
« on: October 31, 2010, 10:16:28 pm »
I am putting through a digikey order soon (shipping to Australia). Was wondering if anyone knows what's cheap (relative to say purchasing from Farnell AU) to get at digikey while im at it (since shipping is $30 us)?

Before committing to ordering from DK, check pricing at Mouser - on recent orders I've usually found them cheaper.

Mouser charge $39 for shipping to Australia unless your order is over $200 in which case shipping is free.

A year or so ago they matched Digikey's free UK shipping for orders over GBP50 -  maybe if enough Aussies emailed them to say they are losing busoness to DK they may do the same for Down Under...
