I saw them used sometimes to ease the grip on SMA connector, but, given I'm not native English speaker I have no idea on how to describe them for google searching. "Plastic hexagonal SMA handler ?" "SMA nut grip aid ?" In any case, anyone knows where to get a batch of them, AliExpress or else ? Ciao Andrea |

Try googling: SMA thumb wrench or: SMA finger spanner or: SMA spinner |

SMA connector grip seemed to work ok for me. https://www.sdr-kits.net/SMA-Spinner-Grips https://www.droneauthority.co.uk/products/tpu-sma-connector-grips Plenty that can be 3d printed in tpu. |

Even 3D printed in PLA they'd still be very usable. If you don't know anyone with a 3D printer try your nearest makerspace. Also the SMA nut is 5/16" which is only 0.8% smaller than 8mm, so something like this from Amazon would probably do if you only need one for your toolbox, if you have room to use the length of it + a handle. The slotted nut driver style is very much preferable if there isn't plenty of flat panel space all round the SMA connector. |
