What is the symbol: Vertical line with intersecting line at base at a 45 degree angle falling top right to bottom left? (ground, hot ground, cold or ground or? Cannot find on the net. Thanks |

I suppose you're talking about something like that? If so, that's usually a ground. I've more often seen that kind of symbol on hand-drawn schematics though, in particular microelectronics schematics. |

I have seen that symbol used, with letters and/or numbers next to it, to indicate a power supply voltage. |
