Title: What logo is this? [R]
Post by: matseng on November 25, 2017, 02:10:50 pm
Both these devices have a logo/symbol that looks like a capacitor and a part of a flash inside a ring next to the R-in-a-square.  I guess that it is some kind of a conformity/approval logo considering the 3+6 character code to the right of them.

But who are issuing them? I can't find either the cap-logo or the [R] in google image search. And searching for the "approval" code doesn't give any relevant hits either.

Certainly looks like some kind of EMC conformity marking (lightning bolt for radiated, cap for conducted?), but I can't say I recognise it.

I'm curious to know who it is because if it is a conformity mark I feel that I ought to already know it.

Hi.

Espressif lists their products certifications (http://espressif.com/en/certificates?field_product_value%5B%5D=ESP-WROOM-02).
It is TELEC certification (http://espressif.com/sites/default/files/esp-wroom-02_telec_certificate.pdf), and once you know that, it is easy to google it.

I optimised the image and did a reverse google image search. It is indeed Japanese TELEC.
