Win11, Microsoft Locked Your PC... and You Didn't Even Know It!

Especially for Windows 11, home edition.

It apparently, on initial installation, without asking or telling the user, installs and enables bitlocker, which is effectively 256-bit military grade encryption.

So if for any reason you can't log into your Microsoft account (or certain hardware faults/changes) and didn't make a copy of your bitlocker key.  Your data is toast/gone.
