I just wondering what kind of soldering flux is good and can last long time?
What kinds of soldering flux you are using now?
I am using RMA-223, it seems bad and last very short time
Any one give suggestions?
Thanks

Qualitek, it's in a hand-held wand type thing. Generic I think but does the job well, I cant complain!

What's your application? Hot air or soldering iron?

I use Kester #951. It's a no clean flux and is available in the felt tip pen applicator or in bottles.
You can also get it cheap on eBay (at least in the US).
My opinion... I like it.

I prefer this pen-type of fluid flux for most rework: http://nl.farnell.com/electrolube/smf12p/flux-pen-12ml/dp/891186

Works same as paint markers, so it has a valve in the tip which allows to wet the tip by pressing it gently.

It will make diffirences by soldering iron or hot air station?
Because I use a Scotle IR360 PRO BGA station,
Actually, I found the reason, just because I bought a high copy flux,
I goolged these articles:
http://www.eytools.com/original-rma-223-or-high-copy-rma-223-you-already-know.html
I just bought a bottle original RMA-223 and a NC-559-ASM, it will come to me today,
Hope everything will be fine
And i will try some recomended by kind guys below, too

No, no differences.
Just that you'd need to clean the RMA-223

I like the Kester 186 flux pens...technically you don't have to clean the residue because it is non conductive and non corrosive.  Sticky though  ;D

Home made flux, just the way you like it :-) Dissolve some colophony in IPA. A common recipe is 35g colophony for 50ml IPA.

That's what I have in my lab, too:

Pros: easy to use, no clean, not too messy after a day or two when left to dry, works fine, does not smoke or smell.

Cons: Dries fast as promised, but I'd like to flux all sides of an IC in one go, the solder all sides, instead of flux a side, solder it, flux a side etc. Wet, like water; sometimes more gel like structure would be better.

Verdict: For me not perfect by any means, but good enough that I haven't started experimenting with other products.
