Hey folks, A kick pedal on my kids Alesis drum set isn't working correctly -- it's being triggered twice when it should just be once. I took the pedal apart and it has this blue & white switch inside (blue is just a cover to the body, the white lever rocks to trigger the switch). Looks easy enough to replace, but I have no idea what kind it is. Does anyone out there know? Thanks. |

I wonder if the plastic parts are just a lever assembly that is on top of a more common switch. I'd try to remove the plastic parts and see what under it. |

Have you considered gluing a magnet to the top part and mounting a reed switch in the bottom part? Would be sealed so should be more reliable. |

Seen them used in Telephones, and Intercom Handsets as the Hookswitch (that activates when you hang the receiver up), Something like: https://www.amazon.co.uk/15pcs-Telephone-Spare-Parts-Switch/dp/B01EZPNEQM and https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/micro-hook-switch-witch-blue-white_1600199795387.html |

It is just a cover and lever assy. Beneath the blue is a set of springs that connect to the lever that ultimately trip the switch. |
