What switch is this?
glhunter0318:
Hey folks,
A kick pedal on my kids Alesis drum set isn't working correctly -- it's being triggered twice when it should just be once. I took the pedal apart and it has this blue & white switch inside (blue is just a cover to the body, the white lever rocks to trigger the switch). Looks easy enough to replace, but I have no idea what kind it is. Does anyone out there know? Thanks.

I wonder if the plastic parts are just a lever assembly that is on top of a more common switch. I'd try to remove the plastic parts and see what under it.
NiHaoMike:
Have you considered gluing a magnet to the top part and mounting a reed switch in the bottom part? Would be sealed so should be more reliable.

Seen them used in Telephones, and Intercom Handsets as the Hookswitch (that activates when you hang the receiver up),
Something like:

and

It is just a cover and lever assy. Beneath the blue is a set of springs that connect to the lever that ultimately trip the switch.
