What this emoticon means?
« on: April 21, 2014, 10:12:54 pm »
:-// What is it? What are the things that move up and down?  :-//
My blog! English and Spanish! No Google translation! http://tatublog.com.ar

The youth gets together his materials to build a bridge to the moon, or, perchance, a palace or temple on the earth, and, at length, the middle-aged man concludes to build a woodshed with them.

I don't know.

(hoping for the response of "Well if you don't know why answer?" lol).

If you hold the mouse over them it says what they mean.

It is his hands and shoulders moving up and down meaning confused or don't understand

Depending on the type of tablet it can easily be a "real computer".

It's a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, and I'm really happy with it... but I can't mouseover things   :scared: And I have a PC too  :blah:

Actually, with a host mode adaptor and a USB mouse, you can get a mouse pointer.  But with as much Android firmware work I've done in the last few months, I can't remember if there is mouse over...

Oh, and with a cheap hub and a keyboard too, I think it qualifies as a real computer.   :-//

Edit: Some how drastically messed up my quoting.  Let's simplify a little.

Sometimes I hook up a kbd and a mouse put it next to my desk computer and my netbook (and my multimeter, protoboard...) and use them at the same time  :palm: But then things start falling off the table  :scared:

Personally, I read this one   :-//   as a shrug of the shoulders, meaning something like "whatever you say"

I read this one   ???   as "confused"

But I'm sure there's lots of room for interpretation.

Indeed there is. I thought ??? had a bit of an attitude - "did this dude really say that??" - and :-// was more of an "I don't have a clue, that's weird".
