What USB connector types are these?
741:
I've labelled the images (1)...(3). I think (3) - this is the receptacle I need to buy a cable for - is micro-AB.
However, (1) and (2) look a bit like micro-B - except they are nothing like physically compatible with (3).

The first two are proprietary connectors, the third is a standard micro USB.

Those are proprietary connectors, not standard. They may also have functions other than USB.

I did not realise proprietary (but still USB related, in seems) connectors existed.
I did see some on a data sheet from Adam Technologies called "MUSB-A4-S-RA-TSMT" which is somewhat like image (1)

That's usual mini USB.
