What's a good printer for minimal usage ?

Yeah, CCD scanners have much greater depth of field than the now-dominant CIS scanners. My current (anncient) all-in-one has a CCD scanner (because it also has a film/negative scanner), and I have occasionally used it to scan populated PCBs and the like.
