Title: What's all this Kammagottsa stuff, anyway?

Dave uses the line "this sh#t has gone Kommagottsa" or something to that affect. It always drives me nuts because I cannot think of what that might reference (Star Trek?). If he means Komagata (Maru)... then I don't get it. Splain?

“Come a gutsa” is colloquial slang for “come a cropper” (slang from here in England), I’d think. It means you’ve slipped up, made a mistake or something has turned out not as expected, usually in the negative . Yeah, English is a weird language, but I’ll give my Ozzie brothers one thing - at least they can speak PROPER English, unlike our other cousins

As kids come a gutsa was generally reserved for when we fell off pushies(bicycles) and skate boards

😁 The ones who cannot spell nor pronounce words properly, and make zero effort to do so, even when they know full well that they’re saying it incorrectly.  We all know who they are - don’t pretend.
