What's that "glue" used to fix bodge wires?

(1/3) > >>

mcinque:
Hello all!
I always see that bodge wires on PCBs are often fixed with some kind of glue or adhesive.
It's not always the same type, some times is white silicon gunk, other times it's a precise drop of something clear (that's what I want to achieve).
See attachments.
There is a precise product to be used for that kind of thing?

MarkS:
The top pic appears to be clear hot glue.

Might be UV glue. You set it with a UV light. I have some and it looks like that clear example.

mcinque:
it is not clear glue, too transparent. And hot glue is very hard to apply in minimum quantities like in the first pic, for me that is not hot glue.

This is hot glue.

Psi:
It might be clear electronic grade silicone.
Touching it to see how pliable it is should tell you if it's silicone vs a hard UV cure glue.
