whats the progress of flux capacitator?

as i wish to meet the younger me and tell him everything i know all these years, but... since i never met the older me, the chances are... very slim, or non existence... ;D

 The explanation in the second link for the 1938 "cell phone" is just as bizarre as the idea that it is a cell phone - "experimenting with wireless phones"? 1938 rf technology in no way could fit in something as small as what that appears to be, unless in her other hand she is carrying a big box of tubes and batteries.

 I'm calling photoshop on most of that stuff.
