What's the site Dave used to view peoples solar data all over the world?
(1/1)
niels007:
Heyho,
Way back, but I can't find the exact video anymore, I think Dave looked at some random Dutch consumer solar installation power data, probably when discussing the amazing Solar Frickin Bicyclepath in Amsterdam....
I can't seem to find that video and can't find that site that allows you to view random peoples solar data. Anyone got a link?
Cheers,
Niels

I think the video you refer to is #681. In that video, from approx. 7:15 onwards, Dave refers to the solar irradiance calculator at http://www.solarelectricityhandbook.com/solar-irradiance.html.
That caclulator does, of course, not show specific people's irradiance data, but lets you select a country, city, and the panel direction. It then shows average irradiance by month, for various vertical orientations of thje panel surface.

Hmm no that's not it, I saw that video today hoping it would be the one.
It was some google-maps looking thing where you could view people's solar system data, it was quite neat!
ebastler:
PVOutput.org maybe? Wasn't in the solar roadways/bikepaths videos though, but in a video about Dave's own rooftop system.
https://pvoutput.org/list.jsp?userid=22501 is Dave's own data, I assume. There is also a map view, but I see Australia/NSW only. (Have not registered.)
