I had something very similar.
The symptoms of pixellation were more prominent on certain channels, but after some time of observation and some tests, I worked it out.
With the TV tuned to a susceptible channel and with my computer off - or with both screens in sleep mode - the TV was perfect. Wake up my computer screens and the problem hit hard. Turn off one screen and the pixellation diminished significantly. Turn off the second and the problem disappeared.
My problem turned out to be poor TV signal path integrity that was fixed by replacing a section of coax with a decent quad shield RG6, replacing an unnecessary connector with a soldered splice (watch your geometry if you do this) and generally running the antenna cable away from proximity to my screens.
Has been perfect ever since (unless we get soaking rain and a bit of wind - but that's pointing to a trip up an antenna pole).
... its not a problem with the antenna because if i have it plugged into my computer tv is fine
That's not necessarily a
conclusive test - but it is a positive indication.
My bet is you have a problem with your antenna cabling - quite possibly poor connector contact, if not the cable itself. These days a decent quad shield cable is all you should be looking at using.
