Where can I buy heavy-duty copper spade terminals?
« on: October 07, 2022, 07:11:41 pm »
Where do I find heavy duty (1mm+ thick) copper spade terminals for larger wire (say 6 or 8 AWG)? I can find ring terminals all day, but large spade terminals are not made? I can't believe it.

EDIT:

I'm looking for crimp-style connectors, not "audiophile screw-tight" style.

Spade terminals suck above around 15-20A because they have such little contact area. They just grab the spade at the two edges and have relatively high resistance.

Fair enough. I'm looking to move 25-35 A at 12-14 V. Maybe I need to modify the devices I'm connecting. Thanks.
