Well, according to the urban dictionary, it looks like there are 3 possibilities..

Given Dave's country of origin, I'm guessing it's number 2. Perhaps Dave's new assistant is a Yank?. Of course number 1 could apply as well...

I don't think that being bad at chess means she isn't intelligent. She's probably just focused on important things like saving the world and space travel.

Seppy first appeared on screen (of the LiveCam) on 2nd of March, together with Dave, shortly after 9 a.m.

Even more remarkably, both began to wrap up Daves messy lab, obviously.

His 2nd appearance was in the latest mailbag video, where Seppy ghostly went to the rack behind Dave, turned a scope 180° around and vanished like he had appeared..
